I e-filed EAD renewal. On the I-797 Notice of Action that they mailed me, the "Priority Date" field is blank. The same is true for my last EAD notice of action as well which I did not check last time. Is it normally blank?
Is anybody else in the same boat?
I checked my receipt notice. PD is blank. I checked with a friend of mine and his receipt notice PD is blank too.
BTW mine is paper based filing.

While on H1B with Employer A, can I use EAD for 2nd job with Employer B?
Also, can I work as independent consultant/contractor (get 1099 instead of W2) while working on H1B with Employer A?

My Client due to some reasons unable to offer fulltime position . But they are extending my project bt 2- 2 months . Now they extended till Aug 2009 . My visa is expiring in sep 2009 .
Should I ask my employer to file extention Now ? or should I file in August ?
If there is a chance that client will offer fulltime job in next 2 months, consider waiting till aug for h1 extesnion, otherwise file for extension now. CIS may need end client letter for H1 extension.

there is a little logic involved here. what if you changed the jobs between your AC21 and latest NOID. I think CIS just wants to make sure you are still hired by issuing a NOID even though they looked into AC21.
BTW I had the same situation and I had to respond to NOID with the same emp letter.
