Probably this is a case of processing error. The I-485 was denied based on I-140 denial. I would try for MTR on the I-485 with I-140 status.

Hi ,
I am working from home which is NJ on h1b and my company is based DC as my seat is located in DC and i connect remotely to my computer located in DC office , i have below question regarding the LCA and payroll
1. Which location i need to mentioned as primary ,home or where company located?
The LCA should list the job location as your home address.
2. Which state should the payroll runs where i live or where my seat is located?
It doesn't matter for immigration purposes.

My company filed on July2 (MY i485/aos/ead app reached USCIS on July 2), although they were pissed off by July 2nd reversal, but were OK when a revised bulletin was out..

Hi,
I am Indian national on H1B, waiting on priority date to be current to file for I-485. My wife is currently working on TN visa. Will there be any issue with her being on TN status when I file for adjustment of status (for me and for her together). What options I can consider in advance so that I-485 process will not halt with last minute surprises.
Thanks in advance

Thank you very much for quick response. My wife has NO stamping in the passport but we have AP. Do you think a copy of I797 will be OK at POE?
Thank you very much!

I rarely post/quote other forum threads here...this is an exception. I think it's a good post/comment from miceelf ( msg 34) on Ron's site:
Please forgive me if it's offending to anyone:

Nice pencils! Is this graphite?!
Not sure, I have alot of pencils with different materials and shades and I normally just pick some at random when I draw. lol, but it probally was. I also got some ruler looking thing which I just recently figured out was for shading. :)

There is a story in the Oct 6 Wall Street Journal on high skilled immigration reform. If anyone has a subscription to that, pl. post for the benefit of members...

Who leaked the Foley emails and why?; industries seeking more high-skill immigrants pin their hopes on Congress's lame duck session; new film debunks the hypocrisy of anti-development greenies. (Click to Subscribe)

Seperately, the Economist has a 15-page report on the "Global Hunt for Talent". It specifically highlights how restrictive immigration quotas for skilled workers are hurting US competitiveness and how other western nations are racheting up their efforts to lure skilled foreigners.
http://www.economist.com/surveys/displaystory.cfm?story_id=7961938
Here are some excerpts
Most governments are easing restrictions on the entry of skilled workers. Some are going further and offering incentives. Germany has made it easier for skilled workers to get visas. Britain has offered more work permits for skilled migrants. France has introduced a “scientist visa”. Many countries are making it easier for foreign students to stay on after graduating. Canada and Australia have not only tilted their long-established points systems further towards the skilled, they have also introduced more incentives. Australia and New Zealand have created a ladder leading from universities to the workforce and then to permanent residence.
Two economists, Frdric Docquier and Hillel Rapoport, estimate that average emigration rates worldwide are 0.9% for the low-skilled, 1.6% for the medium-skilled and 5.5% for the high-skilled. These rates have been accelerating far faster for the high-skilled group than for the rest. Skilled immigrants accounted for more than half of all admissions in Australia, Canada and New Zealand in 2001. The global war for talent is likely to intensify. Most developed countries are already struggling to find enough doctors and teachers, and are wondering how they will manage when the baby-boomer generation retires. Developing countries, for their part, realise that they will not be able to plug into the global knowledge economy unless they give their people the freedom to move around.

Just more blah, blah, blah.. BTW who is Doraikumar? Is he from IV? He has been quoted here..
Duraikumar was probably just one of the thousands of people who posted on the blog. They cherry picked a few to highlight different aspects of the issue. Bottom line, like you said, just a lot of noise and no real action. Hallmark of this administration. :mad:

Hey psychman,
You need to assign your rotatetransform to your object's transformgroup. It's a bit convulted and I wish it were easier, but here is how you can accomplish this for an element called blueSquare:
private int currentAngle = 0;
private void RotateSquare(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
{
RotateTransform rotateTransform = new RotateTransform();
currentAngle += 45;
rotateTransform.Angle = currentAngle;
TransformGroup transformGroup = new TransformGroup();
transformGroup.Children.Add(rotateTransform);
blueSquare.RenderTransform = transformGroup;
}
:)

Do you know Ozone layer depletion is because of Anti-Immigrants?
These anti-Immigrants are all mostly Jobless people who are incompetent in their jobs. They are lazy fat bums who sit on their a$$ and fart all day from behind as well as from their mouth using hate speech. This has caused too much of harmful gases in atmostphere and have depleted ozone. Their extra weight has sunken many couches and added a lot of broken couches in junkyards. These disposed couches are adding extra weight on the earth and causing earth to sink 1 milimeter every year. A new study will soon be reported in the Onion news.

Nice textures but I don't quite like the left side... I think those yellow lines would maybe make a nice diagonal, starting from the upper left and then splitting either side of the lower right corner.
EDIT: Hope you don't mind, had to make a quick test, a little like this, but I'd like more of the yellow line at the upper left...

I don't see a reason why premium processing will lead to rejection. Certainly that is not the case with H-1B. Infact 2-3 years back H-1B premium processing had 0.5% higher approval rate than regular H-1B.
